The Regional Investment Conference (“RIC”) is Manulife Investment Management (“MIM”) Asia’s annual flagship event for key distribution partners and prospects across Asia. The 2021 investment outlook series was born of the RIC, 15-16 December 2020, that led into an extensive above-the-line digital campaign, press & social media coverage, eDM campaigns in key markets, as well as outlook articles as sales aid.

The pandemic significantly impacted physical marketing activities and led to the creation of the virtual RIC. The physical event was transformed into virtual experience with a broader audience base, including agents, intermediaries, institutional clients, advisers and prospects from 11 markets in Asia.

The event itself was the biggest yet with more speakers (21), more markets covered (16), more people registered (about 1,400) and more live views (about 4,000) than ever before.
