This year marks the momentous 70th anniversary of the Porsche brand. Together with sports car drivers, enthusiasts and fans, the Porsche Global Community wants to celebrate a common identity of what unites them: the fascination of driving a sports car. Porsche Asia Pacific wanted to unite the region in a single live activation that would elevate the brand. To capture a diverse audience that lies beyond Porsche’s customers, Sportscar Together Day (SCTD) needed to appeal to those who might not be familiar with the brand. This meant that the event had to be interactive, fun, and relevant to the different, respective audience groups. With that, they decided that the event was to be represented as a festival that brought to life the world of Porsche and the 70-year celebrations. Porsche Club members joined Das Treffen to create Asia’s largest Porsche gathering with 350 vehicles. Market stalls brought the best of Bangkok’s food culture and a Biergarten offered classic German fare. The E-Performance Cinema, Porsche VR Experience and Porsche Kids Driving School brought the brand to life. They also enlisted Thailand’s local celebrities to provide entertainment from day to night.
